Keeping track of small parts keeps
critical equipment operational
raaco develops and manufactures durable storage and transport systems for tools,
spare parts and specialised components. The solutions help technicians, workshops
and operational units create overview, work efficiently and keep critical equipment
operational. All production takes place in Denmark.
When defence technology needs
to work in practice, daily operations
around the equipment are just as
important: tools, spare parts and
specialised components must be
organised, protected and ready for
use. This is where the solutions from
Danish manufacturer raaco make a
practical difference.
In short, it is about keeping
equipment operational. When technicians need to maintain critical
equipment, tools, spare parts and
components must be easy to find
immediately. There must be no
doubt about what is located where,
and which equipment it belongs to,
says Kadir Ünver, CEO of raaco.
raaco has for 70 years manufactured its storage and transport
systems in Nykøbing Falster, Denmark, and supplies solutions to industry, trades and technical service.

Small parts can have major significance. That is why they must be
organised, protected and ready for
use, says Kadir Ünver.
A wrong, missing or misplaced
part can delay a repair and, in
the worst case, mean that critical
equipment cannot be put back into
operation. For this reason, raacos
solutions are designed
to create fixed locations,

to be able to check that everything
has been brought out again. CarryLite LMS-FOD is made with fluorescent materials, making it easier
to detect forgotten parts using UV
light, explains Kadir Ünver.
CarryLite LMS has a click-base
system that keeps the inserts fixed in the box, even when the lid is
opened. The solution can be combined with RFID tracking and is also
available in hi-vis variants highly
visible colours that make the equipment easier to locate in busy or dark
working environments.
Danish production
and secure supply
Defence organisations in Denmark,
France, Germany, the United States
and other NATO countries already
use raaco products typically purchased through wholesalers and
established distribution channels.
Our message to the defence
industry is simple: You are already
using us. Get in touch, so we can
develop solutions that fit your needs
and workflows even better, says
Kadir Ünver.
Security of supply is high on the
agenda, and for raaco, Danish production is therefore a central part
of the companys value proposition.
Shorter and more controllable supply chains give customers greater
certainty that they will have access
to the same solutions over time. At
the same time, it is important that
products do not change from one
day to the next.
When industrial customers and
defence-related customers build our
systems into their processes, they
must be able to rely on those solutions still being available in five, ten or
15 years. We work with long-lasting
systems, not short-term trends, he
says.
At DALO Industry Days 2026,
raaco wants to get closer to both
end users and the defence industry.
The aim is to showcase existing solutions, but also to open the door to
new customised systems in areas
where needs are developing rapidly.
One example is drones, where
modern defence has a growing
need for secure storage, transport
and organisation of batteries, tools,
spare parts and accessories.
Why not use a Danish manufacturer to develop storage and transport solutions for the drone sector?
That is exactly the type of solution
we can develop in close collaboration with customers, says Kadir
Ünver.
raaco
raaco was founded in 1956 by Ejvind
Damberg, and the third generation of
the Damberg family remains part of the
board. Today, the company is a leading
Danish manufacturer of storage and
transport systems for small parts, tools
and technical components.
All production takes place in Nykøbing
Falster, Denmark, and raaco is certified
according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and
ISO 45001.
